Well well well...I said that I would have bought an Instant Camera and I did! :)

So I wanted to ''introduce'' to you all my new baby: Fujifilm instax mini 7S.

USA inspired look.

Hello guys! It's been a while since I last posted something but I've been incredibly busy with school: I have my exams this year and I'm busy with my university choice...moreover I am going to leave Rome and move to London next September so I'm quite anxious for that.

I've made my applications and all, but it still is hard for me to take a final decision on my future...

Anyway, I don't want to bother you all with my problems, so here it is, finally, my new post: this picture here shows my new Lookbook outfit. I took inspiration from America and I will probably keep on posting some looks inspired by the USA.

40s and 50s Fashion

As I was telling you in the last post, foulards are the must-have of this season.They are incredible in conveying the moods of the wearer according to the colours and position chosen. I've always thought about the foulard as the canvas of a painting taken off its frame. I think it's a very poetic way of saying how effective this accessory is in filling the gap between fashion and art.

The foulard is an accessory that belongs to the 50s. Those were the years when this apparel somehow rocketed.
As a matter of fact, not only the foulard is becoming more and more a must-have, but also 40s and 50s fashions are rocking the runways.
40s and 50s style will be the unquestionable protagonist of this 2012 Spring/Summer!

So leave bare your shoulders, wear thight belts and high waisted trousers and skirts in order to get a thin waist, give the maximum importance to your curves ("Real women have curves!"). All of this to obtain the famous and classic hourglass line, the perfect female's body ideal of that time.
Make the most of your shape by wearing dress with moulded lines and shaping underwear.

Your hairstyle has to be very simple, and your hair must be soft and gathered up. Make use of foulards and cocktail hats.

Your makeup has to be quite thick, but at the same time it has to be very detailed. Your eyes have to be defined by black eye-liner, put some blush on your cheeks and red lipstick on your lips.

Photography IS love!

Hello girls!
Today I wanted to share with you one of my passions: photography.
I've always been a very curious person and I truly believe that photgraphy is one of the favourite means through which curious girls show their interest in what is around them.
I recently got a reflex - a professional Canon camera - and I really love going around with it! I look like one of those tourists who can't stop taking pictures in my own city (sometimes even in my own house..)!
I really want to attend a photgraphy course, and I'd like to improve my knowledge in this amazing and fascinating field!
My dream right now is to buy an instant camera... It doesn't cost much (Polaroid or Fujitsu are around 80-100 euros) but my mother doesn't allow me to buy one since I just got my reflex... Anyway I really want one... and knowing myself, I'll soon succed in buying it!

All right! It's time to stop daydreaming... Now I wanted to show you, girls, some of the pictures I took until now. It would really mean a lot to me If you could tell me what you think about them!

Yeah, you're right. Christmas is over already. However I really really wanted to post this outfit, so I'm posting it now, even though it's gone.

So here it is, my Christmas look: it's a mix of classic and glamour, white and pink.

I'm dreaming of a white (and pink) Christmas!

The inspiration for this look was "glam". I thought about Milan, Paris and London's fashion weeks, and came up with this simple outfit that could be worn in any occasion.

Here we are again!

I am so enthusiastic about this blog, I can't help but post and post and post..! Ahahah ! Hope you guys like this second look and the pictures, which i really love.

The inspiration for this second outfit was everyday life. We started from the most "taken for granted" things as flowers, for instance. We observed those "common" objects and tried to dig deeper in this observation to come up with something easy and fun.
