Necklaces we love ya!

Hi everybody!
How was your day?
Today I wanted to talk to you about embroidered (fabric) necklaces. If there is something sure about this summer, is that we will see loads of big embroidered neckalces. Since this is the case, and since I love them soooo much (they can turn every outfit into a sophisticated look), today I want to show some pics of some necklaces I spotted on the web - just to give you a hint in case you want to buy one!

From day to night: Look n.2

Hello everybody!
Today I wanted to talk to you about the popular print of "Le Moustache".

I might be a little bit outta time, but I don't only want to show you how many ''moustache'' we can have: I also want to show how can we use a simple moustache shirt like this

for a day to night look.

For the day I suggest to wear this shirt on a comfortable pair of high waisted denim shorts, or else on a long pleated chiffon skirt if you feel more romantic :)
You can either leave your hair down (waved would be better) or pull them back and tie them up in a loose bun to look more casual.

Balmain's 2012 S/S Collection

Olivier Rousteing is the new 25-year-old designer who has taken the place of Christophe Decarnin after his sudden departure, as the creative director of the famous label Balmain.
However all Balmain's lovers can breath a sigh of relief; apart from keeping the embroidery and refined detailing which is Balmain’s trademark, the young designer Olivier added to the new collection some feautures of his own like floating apparels and cleaner lines.
I am completely fascinated by this 2012 S/S collection because of the gold patchwork, the studs and sun-bleached Native American embroidery. I also loved the luxurious black leather apparels, accessorized by thick gold cuffs and large belt buckles which are very Western-inspired. I am sure that most of the outfits that came down Balmain's 2012 runway show will be must-haves.

This one is the piece I love the most. I want it! The prints and embroideries are just fabulous!

Lace: the must-have of the season.

The new must-have of the season.

Lace is still the protagonist of this season, but not only in the three classic colours nude, black and white. The brand new trend is to make up an outfit which consists of a shocking coloured lace piece. Thanks to its sexy and elegant characteristics, lace makes every girl look graceful, girly and fashionable. During the day it's good to match lace apparels with vintage pieces, but at night just let it be free to stand out as a sexy piece. Lace is also a good choice if you don't want to spend too much time thinking about how to put together your "tomorrow outfit" because it can dress you alone as one piece. If you want to get a "Bon ton" look all you have to do is to wear a classic little lace dress with a pair of ballerinas and a blazer. Whereas if you want to get a typical Jenny Humphrey Glam rock look you have to match the little lace dress (possibly black dress) with a leather jacket and a pair of black ankle boots.

Jimmy Choo's lace pumps. Just fabulous.

The pictures that follow show what I was telling you before: the new trend of the season is to match lace with eye-cathcing colours like shocking yellow and orange, for example.

So, what do you girls think about lace? Do you think it's a must have for a good reason or do you think it's too old-fashioned? Let me know what you think in the comment section,

Xoxo,
Valentina
